Soft tissue sarcoma and ALT Flap

pre op tumor pre op tumor post op day 5 well settled flap and brachytherapy catheter visible 28 year old female who have developed soft tissue sarcoma thigh which was duly excised and adjuvant treatment given, after 12 months the patient developed recurrence . She was again thoroughly investigated and found have extensive tumour recurrence , oncosurgeon along radiation oncology team drew up plans for treatment. Plan was to excise the tumour with immediate microsurgical reconstruction. Brachetherapy catheter were to be put during surgery to be utilised after surgery. Surgery was done and tumour was throughly excised and immediate reconstruction with ALT flap was done. Post op was uneventful and patient was discharged after 10 days .
