Nerve Sheath tumor of median nerve
pre op tumor pre op nerve sheath tumor being disseccted parent nerve and tumor excised tumor tumor away from nerve fascicle MRI Scan of Tumor 21 year old boy developed swelling in inner aspect of arm for 6 months . Painless slow growing and tender on touch. He had no distal nerve deficit or any neurovascular problem due to swelling .MRI Scan revealed that it is a nerve sheath tumor . Patient was posted for surgery and tumor was dissected free of nerve fascicle and removed . Post op patient suffered no deficit and recovered . Biopsy came as benign Schwannoma.
